After working several hours a day, five days a week we deserve a vacation. How many times do we save for that ultimate getaway or just a trip to rejuvenate our well-being only to be discouraged by the exorbitant fees of flight tickets? Our economic situation has given way to ticket prices rising rapidly and many of the common people have already thought of getting away as a burden on the pockets.

To get the cheapest flights, just follow these simple tricks:

• Try to check the flights schedule as experts say the prices change in relation with the schedule. Expect that prices will go up in rush hour and usually it is lower early in the morning. The best thing to do is to check back every five hours and takes notes.
• Do not schedule your flight on days when businessmen travel. The usual days are the first two days of the week and Friday. Airlines are scrambling to get seats to be filled in on Wednesdays and Thursdays that you can surely get a cheap ticket.
• It is one of the oldest tricks in the book to not go on a trip to places that are popular at times when a lot of people go on a trip. For example, it will be difficult getting a cheap flight when it is Thanksgiving and the ticket price will go up. Plan your trip on the days between Labor Day and Thanksgiving because there will be a lot of vacant seats and prices are low.
• If want to have a vacation on a popular destination but you are worried that getting there might cost you some money, well here’s the trick; plan your getaway when it’s out of season and not a lot of people are vacationing to that place. This is very effective especially when you think and plan about this. Go through several airline websites and take your time browsing through their schedules. You might be surprised at what you will find; the best deals ever!
• Especially when it is out of season, airlines have packages that you can take advantage of. They sometimes offer the entire package of hotel, rental car and airfare for the price of one which is a good deal indeed.

There is nothing stopping you from getting that much needed vacation and you don’t need to worry about creating a huge hole in your pocket. Planning carefully ahead will always bring you the best deals.
