García. Digital Fine Arts (digital paintings) are original pieces of art and are created in the same manner as Traditional Fine Arts but with the use of a Wacom drawing tablet and digital painting tools instead of the use of a brush and traditional media. They are not the result of photo manipulation. All digital paintings are hand painted created stroke by stroke. Images or paintings created are originals from the imagination of the artist or by using a photo to look at as a reference. But all strokes lines tones blending are done by hand (with a similar process as Flemish Realism technique in traditional art) with use of the digitizing tablet and pen. In the galleries we will specify the medium with the following terms: digital oleo digital watercolor digital charcoal digital pastel etc. Digital prints are ""original multiple"" signed and numbered by the artist. They are considered originals because every print is reproduced in the same media in which they were created. Traditional Fine Arts are paintings created with traditional media such as oils acrylics pastel watercolors pencil charcoal etc. Reproductions of Fine Art (sometimes called Giclee) are reproductions of the original painting because they were done in a different medium. These reproductions are signed and numbered as well.
