This cheery red and blue cloth toy is a depiction of Noah’s fabled Ark, complete with a collection of miniature stuffed animals (arranged two by two, of course) and Noah himself, with his long white beard and shepherd’s crook. At about 12 inches long and 10 inches tall, the SS Noah features two separate compartments–one in the roof and one in its side–into which the assorted zebras, giraffes, pigs, lions, geese, rabbits, crocodiles, hippos, and cows can go when the weather turns bad. (Assorted dogs, chickens, sheep, and other animals peer out from the windows.) When the 40 days and nights are over, the entire menagerie can ride on deck with Noah via a series of ingenious pockets that rise just above the waterline.
